The Friends of Tarrywile Park (FOT) is a private non-profit 501(c)3 organization run by volunteers whose mission is to support the preservation and enhancement of Tarrywile Park. Tarrywile is a prized treasure consisting of a Victorian Mansion, Hearthstone Castle and over 700 acres of open space offering some of the Connecticut’s best hiking, picnicking, fishing, mountain biking, dog walking, environmental education, bird watching.
FOT works with the Tarrywile Park Authority to promote community use and awareness of the Park. We subsidize historic preservation, restoration and enhancement of the park’s buildings and grounds.
Today we are asking for your support of Friends of Tarrywile Park through Advertising in our yearlong program book and/or a Donation for our Silent Auction for “Evening at the Mansion” 2014. This popular fundraising event is well attended and boasts live music, dancing, food & libations.
2000 copies of our Program Booklet are printed and replenished as necessary. They are distributed at “Evening at the Mansion”, The Artisan Festivals, Bridal Shows and throughout the year at the Tarrywile Park and Mansion and its events.
And of course, please join us June 6, 2014 for “Evening at the Mansion” at Beautiful Tarrywile Park and Mansion.
