Invasive Vine Cutting Day (Rescheduled)

March 24 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Calling all nature enthusiasts and conservation champions!

Invasive Vine Cutting Day

NEW DATE – Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 10AM

Help us to save some of Tarrywile’s trees by volunteering two hours of your time to the park on Sunday, March 24, 2024. We will meet by the Red Barn at 10:00 a.m.

Please bring any tools you may have including manual saws, machete, branch cutting and pruning tools (including battery powered).

We are seeking dedicated volunteers to join us in a noble mission to protect and restore the natural beauty of Tarrywile Park. We are particularly focused on removing non-native invasive species that threaten the delicate balance of our local ecosystem.

If you have a passion for environmental stewardship and would love to make a positive impact on the biodiversity of Tarrywile Park, we invite you to lend a helping hand. By joining our volunteer team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside like-minded individuals, learn about native plant species, and contribute to the preservation of this cherished green space.

To sign up as a volunteer or to learn more about this exciting opportunity, please contact us at http://www.tarrywile.comtarrywile.mansion@snet.net or at 203-744-3130.

Let’s work together to protect and restore the natural wonders of Tarrywile Park!

Thank you for your support in advance. Please check back for our updated calendar of 2024 volunteer opportunities.  e this space to add text, images, dividers, and more.
